Page with this webpart and exposed to Anonymous accessing this from internet, prompts for Sign in.

I used this in one of my Sharepoint page using Content Editor Webpart
This worked absolutely fine for me. Thanks a lot for that.
But when i exposed that page to internet with "Anonymous Access". To access that page it still asks for sign-in.
Can somebody help me in solving this.
I think it requires elevated credentials to run "/jquery.SPServices-0.5.2.js" ..
This is really urgent for me. Any help would be appreciated.

to make this work with anonymous access, you'd need to allow sharepoint web services to be accessed by anonymous users. This is a permission that you have to add to the "restricted reader" permission level.

However i'm not sure it's a good idea to use spitemsrotator for an internet facing website, for security and performance concerns.

I would use a CQWP so that images (or whatever you're willing to display) are rendered in the page without any web service call. You could then have a look to the spitemsrotator.js script to see how to rotate items, and reuse that part.
